University at Buffalo’s Level Up Esports Arena anchors North Campus inside the Lockwood Memorial Library, delivering a purpose-built powerhouse for students craving elite gear and electric social vibes. This sleek gaming and training space packs 52 Alienware PCs, a massive four-screen Jumbotron, and console pods loaded with Xbox Series X, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and retro connectivity—fueling everything from casual drop-ins to varsity drills in one inclusive hotspot.

As a university-managed facility, it is open exclusively to current UB students during academic semesters, with no general public or neighboring community access available.

The arena thrives on flexibility: first-come, first-served PCs (up to 15 hours/week per student) and reservable console pods keep sessions flowing. Open Mon–Thu 9 AM–11 PM, Fri 9 AM–11 PM, and Sat–Sun noon–11 PM (holiday adjustments apply), it’s the perfect after-class escape for squad battles or solo grinds.
