Grand Canyon University Esports Lounge – GCU’s 3,200 sq ft Varsity & Community Powerhouse

Grand Canyon University Esports Lounge in the Technology Building is a 3,200 sq ft collegiate gaming epicenter where over 2,000 Lopes come together for varsity dominance and campus camaraderie. This powerhouse packs 72 high-end PC setups, console bays, stream rooms, and broadcast infrastructure fueling everything from ranked grinds to live Twitch spectacles.

As a university-managed facility, it is open exclusively to current GCU students, with no general public or neighboring community access available.

The lounge anchors GCU’s varsity program, powering squads in League of Legends, Rocket League, Overwatch, and more, competing in national circuits like the Western Cactus League. It’s also a vibrant hub for in-school leagues, intercollegiate tournaments, and community events, creating a second-home vibe where gamers thrive on and off the scoreboard.
