Launched in September 2022, the Champlain Esports Facility stands as a landmark in the college’s renowned expertise in gaming and interactive media. This cutting-edge arena features 24 elite PC rigs equipped with Intel i9 processors, RTX 3080 graphics cards, and 240 Hz Alienware displays—complemented by plush Vertagear seating for peak comfort during long sessions. Specialized zones include a pro-level training suite, console bays, media production stations, and a fully equipped broadcast room with streaming tech, forming a powerhouse for match commentary and content creation.

As a college-managed facility, it is open exclusively to current Champlain College students, faculty, and staff, with no general public or neighboring community access available.

The program supports varsity squads in titles like Valorant and Rocket League, granting them priority booking and athletic scholarships, while club teams emphasize accessibility and skill-building for all. Beyond gameplay, students dive into real-world roles—leading events, running production, managing social channels, and shaping marketing—often backed by work-study positions and internships that pave the way for gaming industry careers.
