NDSU Esports (North Dakota State University’s esports) scene thrives through a dynamic student club and a fresh campus gaming lab, creating a welcoming spot where varsity hopefuls and casual players unite. Centered in the Memorial Union, NDSU Esports channels Bison pride into high-energy sessions that mix rivalry with recreation.

As a university-managed facility, it is open exclusively to current NDSU students and club members, with no general public or neighboring community access available.

The star attraction is the revamped esports lab in Thundar’s Game Room (316 Ladd Hall)—a 1,200 sq ft powerhouse with 25-30 gaming stations, console bays, laptop tables, and a team/coaching lounge that fuels everything from quick drop-ins to squad scrims. The club powers squads in Rocket League, League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant, Smash, CS:GO, and beyond, backed by a buzzing Discord community of 300+ members for casual queues and tourney hype.
