Boise State Esports Arena – Idaho’s Premier Varsity Esports Hub in Downtown Boise

Boise State Esports Arena, the Southern Hemisphere’s largest dedicated gaming venue, spans 7,000 sq ft across the Venture College building in downtown Boise a cutting-edge facility blending competition, broadcasting, and community events since its 2017 launch. This downtown powerhouse hosts varsity squads, local tournaments, and public open plays, drawing students and enthusiasts for immersive action.

The arena is open to the general public alongside Boise State students and affiliates, with walk-ins welcome weekdays 10 AM–10 PM for drop-ins, events, and rentals—no campus ID required, and free entry for most activities.

The Battleground zone boasts around 35 gaming stations for practice and casual sessions, while the main stage seats up to 100 with five screens, a casters’ desk, and full broadcast production for live Twitch streams over 30 hours weekly. Consoles, VR, and retro arcade add variety, with partnerships like HyperX and Omen ensuring top-tier hardware like RTX 40-series GPUs.

From high school championships to corporate activations, the arena hosts diverse events like the 2025 College Football 25 Challenge and Treefort Music Fest open plays cementing its role as a national leader with 13 Mountain West titles and six national championships.
